We are actively building a talented workforce through our apprenticeship program.

If you have mechanical aptitude, analytical and logical skills, and enjoy paying attention to detail, consider this career path. You’ll enroll in courses through Lake Michigan College (LMC), offered at their new, state-of-the-art Hanson Technology Center on Napier Avenue. Some courses are also conveniently offered at their Bertrand Crossing Campus near Niles or at area high schools through their early college programs.
Take courses at LMC and work at Standard Tool.
Over the course of four years, you will take courses that will give you knowledge and skills in the field of mold making. You will also work in a paid position under the supervision of master craftsmen at Standard Tool, applying what you have learned in the classroom to our real-world setting.
